He’s coming home tomorrow y’all !!
Yep. He has improved that much in just a few short days.
I haven’t been able to see him since Friday morning, not only did I have to work but I’ve been under the weather as they say. Sinus infection? Simple cold? I don’t really know. It’s in my sinuses and up in and behind my eyes. A tickling sensation then my was water and want to stay shut, sneezing. On floor 5C they would take one look at me and turn me right back around with a feel better have a nice day.
Zoe (Corey’s daughter) is sick too. A cough though. It is sticking around, it won’t go away. The same bug I had a few months ago, my sister had, Corey had before he went in the hospital. It will probably stick around for a few more weeks. Hopefully not though.
So what do you do when you are required to have a caregiver but your caregiver is sick?
Since my last update, his WBC count shot up to 6.5 and all of his other numbers have shot up as well. That’s the power of prayer y’all! The transplant team seems to be pretty shocked that he is doing so well so soon.
He is extremely antsy and ready to go home.
